With over 6 years’ experience as an English-language editor and writer in the educational publishing industry, Rosemary can proofread and copy-edit your programme notes, scripts, articles, academic papers, educational materials and books.
Rosemary has written classical and early music reviews for Bachtrack, created the ‘Classical Music on a Budget’ series for Amsterdo, and provided dissertation proofreading services to graduate students. She has written and edited copy for the University of York Concert Series, the National Centre for Early Music and the National Early Music Association, UK. She recently co-edited the book ‘Balanced Singing’ by acclaimed mezzo-soprano Xenia Meijer. However, Rosemary’s writing and editing experience also encompasses other fields.
For the University of Leiden, Rosemary has edited journal articles and book chapters in the fields of political history and public administration. For ESOMAR, Rosemary has edited research papers by Google, Microsoft, UNICEF, LinkedIn, InMobi, Beyond Research, InSites Consulting, Colgate-Palmolive, Unilever and Mars, among others.
As a staff editor for Uitgeverij Deviant, Rosemary co-creates English-language courses for the Dutch MBO school system, at A1, A2, B1 and B2 level. She writes and edits texts, tests and audio and video scripts, coordinates and directs production of audiovisual materials and has presented on the relationship between music and language-learning at the Nationale Onderwijstentoonstelling.
